Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLHH Recruitment Solutions is searching for an Accounts Payable Specialist, for a 6 month contract opportunity, working in an office, for a company in downtown Richmond, Virginia and parking is provided.Responsibilities• Support critical Accounts Payable (AP) processes to ensure timely vendor payments and compliance.• Oversee end-to-end accounts payable process for multiple companies, including invoice processing, payment disbursement, and vendor communications.• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.• Assist with month-end closing activities.• Ensure timely and accurate recording of all account's payable transactions.• Process AP invoices, obtain requisite approvals prior to posting, and work with vendors to reconcile accounts.• Monitor AP aging and schedule vendor payments.• Obtain and document W-9s from new vendors and set up accounts.• Scan checks and record receipts against AR accounts.Qualifications• Strong ERP systems experience, as well as proficient with Excel• 5+ years of full cycle accounts payable, preferably with cost accounting• Familiarity with Fixed Asset and Inventory modules in ERP systemContract Pay: $23 to $25 an yourIf interested in this temporary AP Specialist role, in Richmond, VA, please apply below.Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hourSearch managed by: Desirae Valeri Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
