Accounts Payable Part Time at Menorah Park

BROAD FUNCTION:The Accounts Payable is responsible for the financial processing of transactions for the entire organization. Duties include daily bookkeeping and record keeping financial reporting and the preparation of tax records for financial audits.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for tracking processing and codingResponsible for paying invoices and expense reportsAbility to reconcile vendor payment inquiries and resolving any issues in a timelymanner.Maintain thorough and accurate records for assigned accounts payable vendorsFollow proper approval protocols when processing invoicesAssist with new vendor account setupHandle vendor inquiries regarding payment status. Resolve account discrepanciesPrepare signed checks for outbound mailCode enter and pay vendor invoicesProcess check requestsEnter and generate check batchesReview vendor statements for open activity. Request invoice copies as necessary and investigate to resolve account discrepanciesAbility to multi-task while maintaining quality and accuracyExceptional organization skills and attention to detailOther duties not listed may be assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organizationEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma or GED required.Must have good communication and organization skills.Prefer at least 3 years experience.Strong attention to detail neededAbility to multi-task with easeHOURS: 20 hours a week.
