Job Description

Job Overview:The Accounts Payable Specialist ensures that vendor invoices and other payables are processed accurately and on time. By coordinating with vendors and internal departments this role helps maintain financial accuracy and supports the dealerships day-to-day operations.Responsibilities and Duties/Essential Functions:Manage the full accounts payable cycle from receipt of invoices through paymentVerify invoices for accuracy proper coding and approvals before entry into the accounting systemPrepare and process payments according to vendor termsReconcile vendor statements research discrepancies and follow up on missing or incorrect invoicesMaintain accurate vendor records including W-9 forms and ensure compliance with 1099 reportingRespond promptly and professionally to vendor payment inquiriesProvide support for the receptionist by answering calls and directing them as neededAssist with month-end close tasksSupport audits and compliance efforts by maintaining organized records and providing documentationHandle special projects and other duties as assignedAdhere to company policies procedures and applicable lawsPosition Type:Full-time Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional overtime may be required.Other duties:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.Qualifications:Minimum Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentAt least 2 years of accounts payable or general accounting experienceStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel Outlook and SharePointEffective communication skills with both vendors and internal staffPreferred Qualifications:Familiarity with CDK or other dealership management systemsExperience in a dealership environment or heavy duty truck industryKnowledge of 1099 processing and sales/use tax complianceRequired Experience:IC Key Skills Business Continuity Planning,Food Technology,ABAP,Import,Electrical & Automation,Adobe Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
