Millennium Physician Group is seeking to hire a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Fort Myers FL. This position does offer possible remote hybrid opportunities! We are looking for a new team member who is -positive energetic able to multi-task and loves patient interaction. We want someone who supports our top initiative of ensuring an excellent patient experience!The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for routing invoices through the paperless P2P (Procure-to-Pay) system. The Specialist will also work with internal and external customers via email and phone responding to inquires about coding payment status and general invoice questions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Manage routing of invoices through paperless P2P systemInteract with various department managers with invoice questionsInteract with staff Accountants with coding questionsAssists vendors daily regarding payment statusCut checks in house where neededReview and reconcile vendor statementsEducation and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); Minimum 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.This position earns competitive compensation plus a full benefits package including 401(k) with match and three weeks of PTO!
