This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing organization within the transport industry while advancing your career in a dynamic and supportive environment.Responsibilities:• Handle administrative and clerical tasks for the Accounts Payable and Finance departments.• Manage daily financial processes and controls to ensure compliance with company policies.• Provide outstanding customer service to internal business partners and external stakeholders.• Assist with internal and external audits by gathering and organizing required documentation.• Open, sort, and distribute department mail promptly.• Maintain organized records by sorting, logging, photocopying, and filing invoices, checks, and other financial documents.• Verify and process checks, including handling special requests for expedited processing.• Support the team by completing assigned special projects as needed.• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role is preferred.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to handle data effectively.• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and manage interruptions.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and financial teams.• Familiarity with accounts payable processes, including account coding, invoice processing, ACH transactions, and check runs.
