Accounts Receivable Specialist at Point Spring Company

If you like the idea of being part of a company that still believes in doing things right and taking care of both customers and employees along the way - wed love to meet you.Were currently looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support the companys cash flow by accurately posting payments maintaining organized records and providing responsive customer and branch support. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a high volume of transactions.What Youll DoProcess customer payments (ACH and checks) and apply them to the correct accounts and invoicesRetrieve banking reports and match ACH payments to remittances received by emailOpen sort and log incoming checks into ExcelDeposit checks using remote deposit and verify confirmation reportsResearch and resolve payment discrepancies with branches and customersMonitor email for POAs remittances customer requests and branch support needsAnswer phone calls from customers and branches and provide account assistanceReview and process credit applications; update customer accounts with approved informationPrint and mail monthly customer account statementsMaintain organized recordsAssist with audits clean-up tasks and accounting projects as neededWhat Youll Bring (Requirements)High school diploma or GED required; additional business or accounting coursework preferred.1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable accounting support or administrative financial work.Proficiency in Excel online banking systems remote deposit tools and accounting/ERP software.Excellent attention to detail organizational and multitasking skills.Exceptional attention to detail.Comfort with handling competing priorities deadlines and frequent interruptions.Focus on maintaining confidentiality of financial and customer information.
