Applications are invited for one or more non-tenure trackActing Assistant Professorpositions. This is a full-time position with an anticipated start date ofSeptember 16 2026. The position is reviewed annually for reappointment. With satisfactory performance in each year we expect the successful applicant to be appointed for a total of three academic years.All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching research and service. A successfulapplicationwill be an excellent independent researcher and have an established track record teachingor working as a teaching assistant.Washington State Law requires that this ad list a binding salary range. The base salary range for this position will be $7800 to $9200 per month paid for 9 months ($70200 to $82800 annually) commensurate with experience and qualifications or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.Applicants are required to have a PhD or foreign equivalent in Mathematics or a related field by the starting date. Applicants must be highly qualified for teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels and be pursuing an independent research program in mathematics.
