What Will You Do in This Role As an Activities Director you will be responsible for planning organizing and implementing a program of activity and leisure pursuits designed to meet the social spiritual intellectual emotional educational and physical needs and interests of residents in accordance with the comprehensive resident care plan.Do You Have What It TakesA fire and passion for working with seniorsA flexible fun and energetic personalityAccreditation as a Certified Activities Director preferred. Bachelors degree in recreation therapy or related area. Should be licensed or registered either nationally or by the State in which practicing. Minimum of one year of experience as an Activities Director in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting. Two years of experience conducting social and recreational programs within the past five years one of which must be full-time in a resident activities program in a health care setting.
