Become a part of our caring community and help us put health firstThe Activity Coordination Assistant ensures the day-to-day operations of the Wellness Center meets participant needs. The Activity Coordination Assistant performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments.The Activity Coordination Assistant schedules the Wellness Center meeting rooms and fitness rooms for pre-programmed classes activities and/or events. Plans promotes and coordinates programs to provide members with a variety fitness activities. Responsible for greeting patients verifying insurance coverage and eligibility reviewing new patient registration and entering new patient information into the computer system at an outpatient care site. Decisions are limited to defined parameters around work expectations quality standards priorities and timing and works under close supervision and/or within established policies/practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation.Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications:Minimum of 1 year in a previous administrative role preferred prior work in a healthcare settingMUST be bilingual in English and SpanishExperience in a patient facing role involving structured and planned activitiesAbility to work independently under general instructions and with a teamStrong attention to detailComputer skills -including MS Outlook Word Excel and PowerPointExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to communicate effectively/professionally with individuals at all levels of the organizationMust be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiencesPreferred Qualifications:Previous work with vulnerable adults or the geriatric populationExperience in Community health outreach programsNutrition knowledge2 - 3 years of experience as a Personal Trainer and/or performing wellness and recreational activitiesHealth Plan experience including Medicare/MedicaidElectronic Medical Record (ECW) knowledge/experienceWorking Hours: Monday Friday 8:00 to 5:00This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humanas Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills knowledge experience education certifications etc.$38000 - $45800 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
