As a Center Medical Director, you'll balance meaningful patient care with the opportunity to lead clinical teams, mentor providers, and shape outcomes for some of the most vulnerable in our communities.The Role:As Center Medical Director (CMD), you ll serve as both a clinical provider and a physician leader. In this clinical and administrative role, you ll manage a multidisciplinary care team while maintaining a full patient panel. You ll collaborate with operations leaders, guide APRNs/PAs, participate in quality initiatives, and help grow our local presence through clinical excellence.What You ll Do:Provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT), including initial evaluations, inductions on Buprenorphine, and follow-up careSupervise and mentor APRNs/PAs and support their clinical developmentLead weekly interdisciplinary treatment team meetings (IDTs)Collaborate with Center Manager on quality and performance metrics (retention, attrition, model compliance)Evaluate and address complex patient care decisions, including referrals for higher levels of careParticipate in provider education, mentoring, and optional academic researchSupport local referral relationships and community partnershipsManage clinical documentation, co-signatures, and ensure EMR compliancePartner with HR and People Services on provider performance and employee relations mattersMaintain active licensure and complete all credentialing requirements for practiceWho We re Looking For:Board Certified or Board Eligible in a specialty recognized by ABMS or AOAFellowship training in Addiction Medicine preferred (not required)Background in Family Medicine, Psychiatry, Internal Medicine, OB-GYN, or Emergency Medicine with addiction experience welcomedActive state license and controlled substance registrationProven leadership capabilities and a commitment to team-based careEMR fluency and strong communication and documentation skillsA compassionate, servant-leader mindset and dedication to treating substance use disordersWhy CleanSlate?Monday Friday schedule no weekendsCollaborative, mission-driven work environmentGenerous PTO + paid holidaysFull benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company matchCompany-paid life, disability, and malpractice insuranceContinuing Education Support: CME allowance + CME PTO for ongoing training and recertificationOpportunity to lead and grow in a respected, physician-led organizationLead care that transforms lives.
