Additive Manufacturing & Prototype (AMP) ManagerCompany:The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Test Operations & Engineering Team is looking for an Additive Manufacturing & Prototype (AMP) Manager based out of Tukwila WA. Within Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) the AMP Manager leads a team of Manufacturing Engineers along with Equipment & Tool Design employees that complete Additive Manufacturing for test work statement in support of multiple Boeing Defense and Commercial programs.Position Responsibilities:Assures a solid interface with other Test Operations & Engineering teams Test & Evaluation teams Test Program Management and program personnel including early engagement with test work statementManages employees performing engineering fabrication and associated technical activities in the area of Additive Manufacturing & Subtractive ManufacturingFacilitates best practice documentation design practice authorship knowledge sharing role development/maturity and robust design reviewsCollaborates with managers across the organization to lead work placement resource sharing and development opportunitiesDevelops and strengthens relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reportsDevelops and grows skill base across the team by strategic hiring individual development and knowledge sharingSupervises AMP statement of work assigns resources and supports requirements synthesisLeads work forecast integration planning and department budget development/executionProvides status to program business partners test program management and leadershipDevelops acquires resources for and executes project and process improvement plansProvides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processesImplements policies & procedures and sets operational goalsEncourages motivates and inspires individuals and the teamFacilitates innovation and special project opportunitiesThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement3 years of engineering leadership experience5 years of engineering experiencePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Active U.S. Secret Security ClearanceExperience with production engineeringExperience in test & evaluation engineeringExperience in military program supportExperience with flight vehicle final productsExperience with test bench design & build approaches and techniquesExperience presenting to executive leadersExcellent communication skillsDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace (DFW) where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits: At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
