No phone calls, please._______________________________________________________________________________________ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES:Adjunct faculty are part-time faculty hired to teach on a semester basis.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Teaches specified course(s).Prepares all course materials.Provides support and guidance to students.Completes all required documentation, including, but not limited to, reporting grades.All other duties as required by the Dean.KEY COMPETANCIES:Ability to work collaboratively with diverse population groups.Ability to work independently and conscientiously.Excellent computer skills.Ability to prioritize and multitask responsibilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with others.Commitment to fulfillment of the College mission.EDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree including a minimum of 18 credits in the field in which a candidate wishes to teach.
