We foster programs in the areas of basic, translational, mechanistic and population research.Position Summary:The Department of Neurology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, School of Medicine is seeking a part-time neurologist to provide interim coverage in the Stroke Division. The qualified candidate is expected to deliver exceptional clinical care in the inpatient and outpatient settings, facilitate seamless patient hand-offs to full-time faculty and community providers as needed, and serve as a clinical resource for colleagues.Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:Candidates must have an M.D., D.O., or equivalent, and be board certified or board eligible in Neurology.Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience:Strong clinical/research skills and experience working with a diverse population of patients.Campus Security Authority Responsibilities:Not Applicable.
