This position requires a professional with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to effectively utilize instructional and classroom technology to enhance teaching and learning.Reporting to the Dean, Adjunct Faculty prepare course syllabi and design lessons, activities, assignments, and assessments to address diverse learning styles and ensure students meet course objectives and outcomes. They incorporate learner-centered principles and concepts, motivating students to actively engage in all aspects of the educational experience. Adjunct Faculty are also responsible for student evaluations and for timely and accurate reporting, such as attendance verifications, academic progress, and final course grades.Successful Adjunct Faculty employ a holistic approach to student success, bringing passion and enthusiasm to the classroom. They collaborate effectively with students and colleagues and work constructively with individuals from diverse cultures, gender identities, language groups, and abilities.
