What you will be doing Facilitates student learning in online coursesManages online courses through the LMS (learning management system) and its toolsInteracts with students online via discussion, chat, and emails at least three times a weekEvaluates and advises studentsProvides feedback on the course to course developersParticipates in departmental and College affairsPerforms other duties as assignedWhat you need to succeed Master’s degree in Environmental Science; or Master’s degree in a natural science with 9 graduate semester hours in environmental related science or engineering courses; such as but not limited to, Atmospheric Sciences, Botany, Earth Science, Ecology, Environmental Biology, Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Geosciences, and/or Oceanography (not to be limited to EVR and EVS courses only); or Master’s degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Environmental Science.Must have basic computer software and Internet skillsMust be a Florida residentMust obtain MDC Online Certification by successfully completing specific online training provided by the College upon hiringPreferences Previous online teaching experience preferredAdditional Requirements The final candidate is to successfully complete a background screening and reference check process.For best consideration upload your unofficial transcripts along with cover letter and resume.
