USM serves about 1,400 students at its main campus in Leavenworth, its satellite location in Overland Park, as well as online.POSITION SUMMARY:Assignments may include morning, afternoon, evening, or on-line classes depending on instructional needs. Application materials for adjunct positions are accepted on an on-going basis.Essential FunctionsPrepare syllabi and deliver curriculum appropriate for the course assignedMaintain effective and timely student assessment and feedbackManage and foster an inclusive educational environment to serve all learnersMaintain student attendance records in accordance with university policySubmit mid-term and final grades on timeDemonstrate professionalism with students, faculty, staff, and administrationTimely attendance at all required training, Division meetings, and university-related meetingsComplete all required training, including training on Engage LMSRequirements:Master’s degree or above in disciplinePossess a state license in the appropriate disciplineCandidates should have an affinity to the mission of the university.TO APPLY: Submit a cover letter, resume and contact information for at least three current professional references.
