Position SummaryAdjunct Instructor openings available in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences ( SEAS ) at the University at Buffalo (UB) through a variety of part-time positions. Enthusiastic forward-thinking faculty are invited to apply particularly those who can operate effectively in a team environment and in a diverse community of students and faculty helping all students reach their full potential. Candidates should have the ability to teach a range of seated or on-line courses in a discipline of engineering at the undergraduate or graduate level as needed. Successful candidates will: Demonstrate appropriate knowledge of subject. Provide students with appropriate learning materials and expertise in assigned subjects. Evaluate students performance and provide effective feedback to guide student learning and success. Contribute to maintaining an inclusive and collaborative environment. About the Department The School of Engineering and Applied Sciences has 9 academic departments: Biomedical Engineering; Chemical and Biological Engineering; Computer Science and Engineering; Civil Structural and Environmental Engineering; Electrical Engineering; Engineering Education; Industrial and Systems Engineering; Materials Design and Innovation; and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
