Job DescriptionThe Department of Nursing invites applications for the position of Adjunct Professor of Nursing. This is a course-by-course part time position responsible for instruction of pre-licensure students in the clinical setting. The nursing clinical adjunct faculty instructor shall be responsible for the instruction and supervision of pre-licensure students during clinical learning activities at a cooperating agency. The University of New Hampshire offers clinical experiences in the following specialties: Fundamentals of Nursing Med/Surg Mental Health Maternity PediatricsRequired QualificationsCandidates must meet one of the following conditions: 1. Masters degree in Nursing 2. BS in Nursing currently matriculated in an MSN or health care related graduate program. 3. BS in Nursing with extensive relevant experience. Experience: At least two years of recent relevant nursing experience in the specialty which you are applying for Licensure: Current unencumbered New Hampshire registered nurse license or a current and unencumbered multi-state registered nurse license issued by a compact state .Preferred QualificationsExperience in clinical teaching. Experience in working with college age and non-traditional students. Skill in working with culturally diverse constituencies in the academic environment.
