DescriptionThe Business Services Administrative Assistant is needed in the office and will contribute toward team goals and include specialized individual responsibilities. The duties include but are not limited to meeting coordination administrative tasks that support multiple departments database updates. Please visit our web site ( to learn more about Millimans commitments to our people inclusion and sustainability.Through a team of professionals ranging from actuaries to clinicians technology specialists to plan administrators we offer unparalleled expertise in employee benefits investment consulting healthcare life insurance and financial services and property and casualty insurance.What You Will DoIn this role you will;Answer and direct all external calls in a professional mannerGreet and assist guestsHospitality services for conference room meeting setup (ordering food room prep etc.)Ensure all visitors and guests sign in and have been assigned security badgesEnsure badges and badge logs are maintained properlySubmit and manage maintenance requests with property managementAssist with tasks for new hire and terminated employeesCoordinate employee photosMaintain CRM contact databaseProvide office support services to Business Services groupOrganize expense receipts for Business Services as requiredProvide HR administrative supportPeriodic assistance with offsite archivingOrder flowers when directed for eventsOrder business cardsMaintains refreshment stock in main kitchen on the 8th floorOther duties when assignedWhat We Are Looking ForRequired Professional QualificationsOne to two years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or office supportProficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word PowerPoint Excel and Outlook as well as Adobe AcrobatAbility to maintain confidentiality with sensitive informationStrong initiative with customer service focusPreferred Professional QualificationsExperience in a consulting environment is a plusPersonal QualificationsWorks well within a team environment and takes ownership of personal work productProficiency in the use of computers and other general office equipmentProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteAttention to detailExcellent problem-solving skillsProactively handles tasks or looks for solutionsStrong communication skills (both written and verbal)Able to productively respond to changeExcellent organization and time management skillsLocationThis position is based out of the Milliman office in Dallas TX. Candidates hired into this role must be willing to work onsite full-time. The expected application deadline for this job is December 31 2025.CompensationA combination of factors will be considered to determine the compensation for this role including but not limited to education relevant work experience qualifications skills certifications etc.This is a full-time non-exempt overtime eligible role; overtime eligible after 40 hours of work.Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees health financial security and well-being.
