JOB DESCRIPTION
Administrative Accounting Coordinator
We are seeking an Administrative Accounting Coordinator to support daily office and accounting operations within a stable, long-standing organization. This role is ideal for an administrative professional who is interested in developing a career path in accounting or finance while gaining hands-on experience in core financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Invoice all orders from the previous business day
- Assist with bank deposits and payment tracking
- Answer approximately 1015 incoming calls on busy days and route inquiries as needed
- Support customers with billing questions and account inquiries
- Maintain accurate financial and administrative records
- Provide general administrative and front-desk support
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Clear written and verbal communication
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
- Exposure to accounting systems (such as Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP platforms)
- Experience with accounts payable and/or accounts receivable is a plus
- Proactive, self-motivated learner with a strong interest in accounting
Work Environment
This position is seated at the front desk, working alongside a part-time colleague who is onsite two days per week. Training is provided directly by management, offering a supportive environment for skill development and professional growth.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
