JOB DESCRIPTION

Supplier Management Coordinator

Responsible for creating and managing supplier records and coordinating along with internal teams, all non stock/indirect import documentation and transportation for cross border (U.S/MX) materials associated with purchase orders generated by the IGS de share services department. Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Conduct visits to suppliers as required.
  • Monitor and follow up on all supplier and import related activities.
  • Request necessary information from suppliers for database updates or new supplier creation.
  • Prepare and manage import documentation required by BRP Customs and External Logistics teams.
  • Provide daily operational support to the IGS team.
  • Cross functional teamwork and communication.
  • Perform any additional task or responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.

Required knowledge, skills and education:

  • Technical Career or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Proficiency in standard computer software applications.
  • Proactive and disciplined work approach.
  • High sense of responsibility.
  • Strong service oriented attitude.
  • SAP Excellent communication skills.
  • English proficiency: 80%

Activities:

  • Manage supplier onboarding, maintenance, and evaluations.
  • Request and gather supplier information to maintain and update internal databases, ensuring timely follow up.
  • Conduct supplier audits for local sourcing initiatives and support supply chain development activities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support KPI management.
  • Manage the El Paso warehouse interface to verify that all registered goods include the required documentation for the import process, taking prompt action to resolve discrepancies.
  • Verify and correct all unrecognized materials immediately to prevent delays in pending invoicing and payment processing.
  • Provide status updates on shipments received at El Paso Warehouse to internal users.
  • Plan and coordinate weekly cross border imports.
