Job Title: Part-Time Administrative Assistant I, Culinary Arts Location: Wolfson Campus Regular/Temporary: Temporary Full/Part Time: Part-Time Job ID: 1008975 Job Details Job FamilySTAFF - Support StaffGradeCTSalary$14.00 - $22.13DepartmentCulinary ArtsReports ToProgram Manager, Chairperson, Director, or DeanClosing DateOpen Until FilledFLSA StatusNon-ExemptFirst Review DateDecember 16, 2025Position Overview The Part-Time Administrative Assistant I assists the supervisor and faculty with the development and implementation of the School program.What you will be doing Functions as a generalist within the assigned area of responsibility, having sufficient knowledge to assist within the scope of the administrative positionAssists with grant or program administration by preparing periodic reports, and monitoring schedules and budgetsAssists faculty with curriculum development process as neededWrites and/or edits releases, newsletters, booklets, brochures, advertisements, and other informational and marketing material as assignedAssists with interviewing, hiring, and managing faculty that teach program courses as neededPrepares correspondence and addresses questions from potential students and program offeringsSchedules and attends meetings and prepares meeting minutes as neededIdentifies means to collect data for analysisSchedules courses and enters data for assignments as neededProcesses department documents or applications as neededPrepares and maintains procedures and/or special programs for the CollegeWorks with personnel within the department to identify equipment and facility needsAssists with student services involving academic and/or program requirementsAdheres to all program, Campus, and College policies and procedures Performs other duties as assignedWhat you need to succeed Bachelor’s degree; or an Associate’s degree and two (2) years of related administrative experienceAll degrees must be from a regionally accredited institutionAbility to become knowledgeable of criteria within grant or program administrationAbility to write simple correspondenceKnowledge of spreadsheets and Microsoft applicationsPossess appropriate administrative skillsAbility to prioritize all assignmentsAbility to deal with problems or refer problems to appropriate areasAbility to follow and issue oral and written instructionsPossess excellent communication skills (both written and oral)Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staffAbility to work a flexible schedule to include evening and weekend assignments as assignedAdditional Requirements The final candidate is to successfully complete a background screening and reference check process.
