Based in Portland Oregon we work primarily in the 11-western states with regional offices in Reno NV; Phoenix AZ Richmond CA and Salt Lake City UT.As an Administrative Assistant you will be working with our project team on administrative tasks at a semi-conductor project site in Chandler AZ. In this role you will be responsible for supporting thejob site team in all office duties andmiscellaneous tasks. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high attention to detail ability to multitask and experience working within a team environment.This position is not eligible for remote work as is an in-person role at our jobsite trailer. The schedule for this position is 7am-3:30pm Monday through Friday.Successful projects do not complete themselves. Find out more at .Admins at Harder perform the following daily tasks:Supportthe construction team on-site with data entry and completing tasks critical to business successEnterproject information and documentation into the project management software and MS Excel logs are requiredScheduleand coordinatemeetings appointments and maintains calendarsCoordinate staff lunches and teambuilding outings as neededPrepareand distributedaily/weekly communications including reports invoices transmittals and various other documentsSupportkey processes such as timecard submissions scheduling transfers and new hires into safety training etc. Preparereports for the construction team using MS ExcelWorkwith the payroll department to aid a smooth and accurate payroll systemCommunicateclearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders and corporate headquarter personnelMaintainaccurate project documentation control by creating and organizing filing systems according to company proceduresSupportthe field with material purchases and PO trackingReportto the Project Manager or as designated Additional tasks as neededWhat you will need to be successful in this role:Computer skills proficient with MS Office Word and Excel including an eagerness to learn software which is proprietary to HarderStrong organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills able to communicate clearly and well to internal and external business partnersAbility to effectively interact with the construction industry personnel and home office staff members Experience organizing maintaining and logging documents Ability to maintain confidentiality Experience reading construction drawings a plus but not requiredPrevious successful experience in a construction office environmentExperience with data entryTeam mentalityEducation/Experience1-2 years in an administrative rolePrevious experience in construction preferred BenefitsCompetitive salaryComprehensive medical dental and vision benefits 100% of employee premiums are paid by the companyGenerous retirement package includes: 10% retirement contribution made by the company and a company match up to 2% of your annual salaryProfit sharingDiscretionary annual bonusPaid vacation and holidaysHarder University training and development as well as other paid professional development opportunitiesTeam environment that promotes individual growthHMC reserves the right to perform a drug screening and background check as may be required and this offer may be contingent on passing a drug screening and background check.This position is hourly.
