Professional development opportunity and mentorship A rapidly growing center within an academic settingHERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DOUnder the supervision of the Director for Student Engagement this position provides administrative and organizational assistance to the Dean of Students office & Office of Student Life which includes but is not limited to managing the office front desk greeting visitors/students/faculty/staff answering telephones and maintaining departmental budgets. Perform administrative and clerical tasks as needed such as data entry and maintaining tracking logs. Provides students with information about university policies deadlines resources. Provides support to student organizations paying vendors for services provided to the department or entities under the purview of the office of student life. Creating room reservations preparing and supporting office programming events submitting facility work orders maintaining service contracts for office equipment and orders while maintaining office supply inventory. May complete eligibility verification for student leaders (using Banner) and assist with supervision of student assistants.
