JOB DESCRIPTION

  • $50k-$80k/year - Rate of pay is based on experience and credentials.

  • Administrator License required (may be acquired after hire).

  • Responsible for the optimal health and welfare of the Residents. 

  • Maintains ongoing liaison with hospital and health agencies. 

  • Organizes, directs, and supervises program development and coordination of all services. 

  • Directs consultation and counseling with Residents, Resident families and/or Resident sponsors.

  • Ensures that each Resident has access to the proper care, services, and amenities to ensure the highest quality of life for the individual. 

  • Ensures Resident socialization program meets the spiritual and social needs of all Residents.

  • Ensures the food service program is of high quality and meets the nutritional needs of all Residents.

  • Responsible for achievement of occupancy goals established in the marketing plan.

  • Responsible for planning and attending after-hours marketing events.

  • Achieves individual lease signing and move in goals.

  • Achieves closing of move in/contract signing.

  • Carries out the billing, accounts payable and payroll policies and procedures.

  • Ensures proper staffing at all times to ensure Resident needs are met and budgetary guidelines are adhered to.

  • Hires, trains, and supervises staff.

  • Ensures effective recruiting, hiring, training and ongoing development of all personnel.

  • Ensures all staff adheres to workplace safety policies, procedures, and techniques.

  • Authorizes the purchases of supplies, equipment, inventory, and furnishings for the upkeep of the building and grounds.

  • Perform weekly tour of the physical plant to identify and schedule resolution of maintenance and housekeeping issues.

  • Ensure scheduled Maintenance work is completed, performed to standard and within budgetary guidelines.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including listening skills.

  • Familiar with gerontology and an overall view of health care delivery, including State regulations.

  • Must have an overall “caring” personality and attitude.

  • Must have ability to plan and adapt to change.

  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds unassisted and 125 pounds per person in a two-person lift.

  • Will be regular in attendance, with the right attitude and attire.

  • Valid driver’s license.
