Position SummaryHope House Colorado (HHC) is hiring an Admissions & Activities Coordinator (AAC). As the AAC you will be onboarding new teen moms to Hope House Colorado (HHC) and coordinating teen mom activities and holiday events. Oversee and coordinate the teen mom activities calendar. And recruitment of new teen moms to Hope House through connections with community partnerships high schools etc. The AAC actively builds relationships with teen moms What youll be doingReviewing all teen mom applications leading orientations with new teen moms and completing administrative onboarding tasks creating a warm welcoming and engaging environment for teen moms first interactions with Hope HouseResponding to crisis calls from teen moms and service providersPlanning & coordinating teen mom events & activities including all holiday eventsManaging teen mom program scheduling including the daily weekly and monthly classes/activities calendar for teen momsWork with development team to coordinate teen moms needs and donations for events such as Christmas Shop backpacks for the backpack drive champion groups that would like to participate in eventsOversee volunteers for events specifically coordinate and communicate with the volunteer events teamPromoting Hope House Colorados Core Values throughout the organization and external relationshipsWe want to hear from you if You have experience working with at-risk adolescent girls and/or high-risk youth (Required)You are available to work onsite at our Arvada location Monday-Friday with one evening shift per week and some scheduled weekends related to the role (Required)You have event planning scheduling or coordination skills and experience (Desired)You have excellent verbal and written communication skills proven leadership skills and the ability to work well with others (Desired)You have a minimum of an associate degree in a human services field (Desired)You have a working knowledge of generational poverty and Microsoft Office Suite (Desired)Who we areHope House Colorado is committed to empowering teen moms changing the future for two generations! Accruals are adjusted to increase vacation earned per hours worked based on length of employment with HHC.Holidays: HHC observes eleven (11) holidays throughout the year. Salaried employees are paid for these holidays according to the nationally recognized observation day for each addition salaried employees are currently gifted either the week of Christmas or the week of New Years off to be scheduled at the discretion of their supervisor.Sick Leave: HHC provides eligible employees with Paid Sick and Safe Leave (PSSL) and Public Health Emergency Leave (PHEL) in accordance with the requirements of Colorados Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA).Employer Based Childcare: Employer Based Childcare: Employees receive a discount for their child(ren)s child care tuition if they are enrolled in the Hope House Colorado Early Learning Center.Hope House Colorado is a qualifying employer for the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program!
