Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists the Director for Enrollment Management and Marketing in the recruitment process, including:
  • Hosting school-based information sessions
  • Hosting parent sessions in the evening
  • Leading information sessions across the region and on-campus events.
  • Coordinating recruitment events throughout the year (i.e. Open House, Meet the Trojans, etc.)
  • Provides secondary support for CLS' marketing goals, to include taking photos and videos at events.
  • Essential Functions

  • Recruitment and Admissions
  • Schedule, advertise, and conduct Covington Latin School information sessions at Diocese schools for prospective students and/or their families.
  • Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, educators, and leaders throughout the region to positively promote the school.
  • Represent Covington Latin School as an exhibitor at public events, such as K-12 student competitions, educator meetings, and/or gifted education organizations.
  • Assist the Director for Enrollment Management and Marketing with the planning and execution of on-campus recruitment and enrollment events, such as several Open House and Entrance Exams.
  • Administrative or Managerial Functions
  • Communicate with prospective students and families via email and phone.
  • Assist in the processing and review of CLS applications.
  • Capture school events via photography and videography.
  • Collaborate with other CLS staff to plan and host parent events.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Essential Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with external constituents, including counselors, teachers, families, and parishes.
  • Possesses both multimedia (i.e. photo and video) and social media skills to aid in the day-to-day operations of CLS' digital footprint.
  • Effective leadership, mentorship, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to plan successful events within a limited budget.
  • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience planning events.
  • Must be willing to work a schedule that occasionally includes evening hours and weekends.
  • Must be willing to travel to various areas across the region for recruitment events.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid driver's license.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check and be Virtus trained.
  • Compensation and Benefits

  • 20 hours per week.
