Classification Title:Admissions Officer II(International Admissions Operations)Classification Minimum Requirements:Masters degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelors degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.Job Description:The Division of Enrollment Management is looking for an Admissions Officer II to support international admissions and this role you will review and evaluate international academic credentials advise prospective students and campus partners and occasional travel to represent UF at recruitment events across the U.S. and internationally.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:International Credential EvaluationEvaluate academic records for international undergraduate graduate and certificate applicants to determine admission eligibility.Research and verify international credentials using internal resources and external evaluation agencies.Serve as a resource for prospective students UF staff and academic departments regarding international credential requirements.Advise faculty coordinators on admission policies degree comparability and transfer credit.Assist in developing and improving processes for credential review and application finalization including managing holds and deferral requests.Maintain updated resources and guides for international credential evaluation.Student Support and CommunicationRespond to inquiries from prospective international students and families via phone email and virtual platforms.Provide clear guidance on admission requirements policies and procedures.Support campus-based and virtual admissions events including presentations at the UF Welcome Center.Recruitment and OutreachIdentify key international markets and assist with planning recruitment strategies and events.Represent UF at recruitment events with occasional overnight travel (approximately 24 weeks annually) both domestically and internationally.Operate a state vehicle for travel as needed.Other DutiesParticipate in holistic review of freshman applications.Keep current on international education practices through research and professional development.Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership.Expected Salary:$55000 annuallyIn addition UF offers the following exceptional benefits:Health Dental and Vision InsuranceState Retirement PlansPaid Time Off(approximately 22 days of vacation leave 13 days of sick leave and 11 paid holidays annually)Tuition Assistance (UF Employee Education Program)Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible EmployerFor more information on benefits please visit HR Benefits and Rewards ()Required Qualifications:Valid Drivers LicenseValid Passport or ability to obtainRequired immunizations for international travel or ability to obtainPreferred:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively in complex environmentsAbility to exercise good judgment and work with minimal supervisionDemonstrated abilities in problem solving and attention to detailStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentExperience with international credential evaluationGeneral knowledge of regulations governing student visasSpecial Instructions to Applicants:Applicants must upload the following documents to be considered for the position:Cover LetterResumeList of ReferencesApplications must be submitted by 11:55p.m. (ET) of the posting end date.This requisition has been reposted.
