Job Summary

The Admissions Partner serves as one of the first points of contact for guests visiting Rock City Gardens. This role is responsible for delivering an exceptional first experience through accurate ticket sales, annual pass processing, and warm, professional guest interactions at the Ticket Desk and Cornerstone Gift Shop. Under the direction of the Guest Relations & Admissions Manager, this position supports Rock City Enterprises' mission of creating Memories worth Repeating by ensuring efficient transactions, clear communication, and outstanding guest service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Culture of Excellence

  • Deliver excellent guest service to internal and external customers in alignment with Rock City Enterprises' mission, culture, and values.
  • Model professional, friendly, and courteous guest and partner interactions at all times.
  • Uphold the Culture of Excellence and serve as a positive representative of Rock City Gardens.

Ticketing, Sales & Annual Pass Processing

  • Perform opening and closing procedures for assigned locations, including the Ticket Desk and Cornerstone Gift Shop.
  • Answer guest questions accurately and professionally regarding ticket options, pricing, and experiences.
  • Process ticket sales efficiently and accurately, including capturing required guest information such as zip codes.
  • Accurately process group ticket sales.
  • Educate guests on the Annual Pass program and complete sales when appropriate.
  • Create annual passes and ensure all information is recorded correctly.
  • Perform all cashier responsibilities in accordance with cash-handling and operational procedures.

Operational Support

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready work area at all times.
  • Follow organizational processes and procedures consistently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of one (1) year of customer service or related experience preferred.
  • Willingness to receive training and learn Rock City Gardens' systems and procedures.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Kind, friendly personality with a desire to contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Professional, engaging, and polite demeanor with guests and partners.
  • Strong verbal communication skills in one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Ability to read and understand operational documents and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions using U.S. currency.

Availability

Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Regular use of hands and fingers.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
  • Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods while performing guest-facing duties.


Compensation details: 13.25-13.3 Hourly Wage
