Outpatient Sales Representative

Our location in Los Angeles South, CA currently has an opportunity for an Outpatient Sales Representative part of our Therapeutic Nutrition Sales team in the Nutrition Division. Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. Millions of people around the world count on our leading brands including Similac, PediaSure, Pedialyte, Ensure, and Glucerna to help get the nutrients they need to live their healthiest life.
The primary responsibility of this role is to drive sales by securing commitments for recommendations from Healthcare Professionals in Outpatient offices such as Internal Medicine, Primary Care, and Oncology accounts.
Territory:
- The ideal candidate will be based out of LA South, CA
- This territory includes Torrance (South Bay), Downey, CA
- 5-10% travel for Regional/National meetings
- This position does not offer relocation. Local candidates only, please.
Responsibilities:
- Executing sales initiatives designed to exceed established sales goals for Ensure, Glucerna, and Juven
- Work closely with District Manager and cross-functional / interdisciplinary teams to execute the sales direction
- Identify customer needs and deliver on sales opportunities accordingly
- Utilize Abbott Nutrition promotional materials to targeted healthcare professionals
- Prioritize the utilization of resources to drive return on investment
- Plan and organize to maximize focus on top priorities

Education and Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree
Preferred:
- Spanish bilingual
- 2-3 years of sales experience
- B2B selling experience
- Cold-Calling experience
- Experience building own book of business
- Strong business acumen
- Displayed characteristics of GRIT, Persistence, Adaptability and Drive
The base pay for this position is $61,300.00 $122,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
