Adult Residential Support ProfessionalPart-Time Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday 10:00am-10:00pm) Lutheran Social Services (LSS)Lutheran Social Services is seeking a dedicated Adult Residential Support Professional to join our team at Fahrmen Team a 42-bed adult residential treatment facility. Fahrmen Center provides inpatient addiction services for both men and women as well as restorative justice programming for individuals involved with correctional systems.Position OverviewUnder supervision this role involves providing care services and treatment to clients in our Addictions and Restorative Justice (ARJ) programs. Clients may present with substance use disorders and/or criminogenic risk factors requiring responsive and compassionate support.Key Responsibilities(This list is not exhaustive; additional duties may be assigned as needed.)Support interact with and monitor residents while serving as a positive role modelDocument resident behaviors and maintain accurate records and reportsPerform general housekeeping and cleaning tasksOrganize and distribute clothing bedding and suppliesMonitor or administer medications per program policiesShare client status updates with external partners while maintaining confidentialityIdentify and respond appropriately to emergencies or crisesSupport residents in achieving treatment plan goalsWork independently and problem-solve effectivelyAttend staff meetings and participate in required trainingsAssist with meal preparation grocery shopping and life skills developmentTransport residents to appointments meetings and activitiesCollect urine specimens and administer breathalyzer tests as requiredLead educational group activities within program guidelinesProvide basic first aid when necessaryPerform other duties as assignedPerks & BenefitsMileage reimbursementPaid Time Off (PTO)403B retirement contribution optionAnnual raises prioritized for employeesEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Service awards and recognitionEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED requiredRelated experience or college credits in social work human services psychology or similar fields may be required depending on contract needsPrior experience in a similar role preferredStrong reading writing math and problem-solving skillsAbility to follow direction maintain professional boundaries and work collaboratively with patience flexibility and self-controlCertificates Licenses & RegistrationsValid drivers license preferredMust meet LSS auto insurance requirements and pass a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checkDHS 83 training (Fire Safety First Aid Choking Procedures Standard Precautions Medication Administration) preferred; required after hireSkillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsBasic computer proficiency for timecards email HRIS EHR systems and online trainingPhysical Demands & Work EnvironmentFrequent standing bending stooping crouching kneeling stair use and walkingWork primarily in a community-based residential settingExposure to outdoor conditions while supervising resident activities assisting with snow removal or yard careModerate noise level in the work environmentTravelDay travel required up to 2550% depending on role responsibilitiesLutheran Social Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).Required Experience:Unclear Seniority Key Skills Bidding,Apps,Benefits,Corporate Recruitment,Android Development Employment Type : Part-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
