Advance Composite Technician I

Join the Kelly Professional & Industrial team as an Advance Composite Technician I with a leading aerospace manufacturer specializing in advanced composite aircraft structures and components.

What's A Typical Day As An Advance Composite Technician I? You Will:

  • Manufacture composite aircraft parts to meet manufacturing specifications in a team-oriented production environment.
  • Perform composite manufacturing functions such as lay-up, cutting, bagging, autoclave processing, trimming, and/or repair.
  • Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches, and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations.
  • Work with composite resins and materials while maintaining strict quality standards.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure defect-free assemblies prior to inspection.
  • Maintain required logs and documentation (MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs, DR/DI, etc.).
  • Support Lean initiatives, FOD prevention, and 5S programs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

This Job Might Be An Outstanding Fit If You Have:

  • High School Diploma or GED (required).
  • One (1) year of related composite manufacturing experience.
  • Experience working with composite resins and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and accurately read a 6? scale.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Experience operating a forklift and overhead crane.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position and work any shift.

Must Haves (Non-Negotiable):

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One (1) year related composite experience.
  • Ability to work with composite resins and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and a 6? scale.
  • Able to operate forklift and overhead crane.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • English language proficiency (read, write, speak, understand).
