TITLE: Advanced Embedded Software Engineer (US Citizenship REQUIRED)RATE RANGE: $45hr - $54/hr W2 (no health benefits/no PTO while on contract-an hour worked is an hour paid)LOCATION: Canonsburg PA 15317 (no relocation package)CLEARANCE: Must be able to obtain (US Citizenship REQUIRED)***No C2C we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors and we can NOT do 1099-US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED***ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:As anAdvanced Embedded Software Engineer(Advanced Software Engineer) youll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for sustaining and creating software for embedded applications. You will participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirements analysis design implementation and testing.We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:Experience working in a Linux environmentExperience writing in C and Multithreaded programmingExperience with a Real Time Operating SystemExperience working outside of an IDE development environment. (i.e. writing and modifying makes files)Experience with Software Source Control tools and concepts (Git or CVS preferred)Experience leveraging and integrating pre-existing and legacy software and Firmware National Instruments LabWindows/CVI would be helpful but not requiredExperience architecting and designing new software applications from design documents.Experience developing secure software applications is desirable but not required.Strong understanding of software development process as well as software engineering concepts principles and theoriesCreative thinker capable of applying new information quickly to solve challenging problemsComfortable providing technical leadershipTeam player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team successCommitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and othersAgile experience preferredREQUIRED EDUCATIONRequires a Bachelors degree in Software Engineering or a related Science Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5 years of job-related experience or a Masters degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
