Enjoy a fulfilling career as you support the health of our patients and a team focused on excellence.Overview:This individual provides direct patient care as the Center's Nurse Practitioner according to established protocols, policies, procedures, and accepted standards of care. Functions within approved scope and credentials as approved by Beebe Medical Center credentialing committee. Follow established nursing standards, procedures, and practices, and gives specific patient care directions to nursing and other staff.Responsibilities:Provide accurate and timely assessment. evaluation and treatment of patients from six (6) months to the geriatric population. Diagnostics- Ability to accurately interpret electrocardiogram and lab tests results. Provide accurate and timely diagnosis and care management to patients with chronic illnesses, such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus and asthma. Promote disease prevention by using effective risk assessment, coaching and counseling skills. As appropriate, provide timely and accurate completion of Annual Medicare Wellness physicals in accordance with Beebe Medical Group policy and Medicare guidelines. Ability to appropriately handle unexpected emergent medical situations. Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with patients, co-workers and healthcare providers. Possess an energetic, compassionate and efficient work ethic with strong organizational skills and effective customer service skills. Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to working at other Primary Care locations within Beebe Medical Group as necessaryQualifications: 2 - 4 years' experience.Prefer experience in Family Medicine practice.  Competencies Skills:Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.Proficiency in ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.Excellent patient education and counseling abilities.Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.Ability to manage a high-volume patient load.Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentation.Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.Credentials:Valid and unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the practicing state.Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), or Physician Assistant (PA-C).Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).DEA registration for prescribing medications (if required).Education:Essential:Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program. Other Information: 2 - 4 years' experience.Prefer experience in Family Medicine practice.  Entry:USD $0.00/Yr.Max:USD $624,000.00/Yr.
