Be committed to delivering exceptional comprehensive care with an emphasis on patient involvement in preventive care and treatment planning for patients ages 18 and up.full-time position8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Fridaycompetitive compensation and benefitsmalpractice coverageEssential Duties and Responsibilities Examine patients perform comprehensive physical examinations and compile patient medical data including health history and results of physical examinationAdminister or order diagnostic tests such as x-ray electrocardiogram and laboratory tests; interpret test results for deviations from normalPerform therapeutic procedures such as injections immunizations suturing and wound care; manage infectionDevelop and implement patient management plans record progress notes and assist in provision of continuity of careInstruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens normal growth and development family planning emotional problems of daily living and health maintenanceRequired Knowledge and Experience Physician Assistant: Completion of accredited PA programNurse Practitioner: Completion of accredited NP program; Masters degree in Nursing2 or more years related healthcare experience and/or trainingRequired Licensure Certification RegistrationPhysician Assistant: Current NC medical license; certified by the NCCPANurse Practitioner: Current NC Board of Nursing RN and NP license; certified as a Nurse Practitioner by AANP or ANCCCurrent BLS certification Millennium Physician Group is one of the largest comprehensive primary care practices with healthcare providers throughout Florida North Carolina and Texas.
