Advanced Practice Provider – NowCare Urgent CareBayview Physicians Group is a progressive, independent, multi-specialty physician group serving the Hampton Roads region of southeast coastal Virginia. We are currently seeking Advanced Practice Providers (PAs) to join our team of experienced and collegial urgent care professionals through our NowCare Urgent Care Centers. NowCare operates seven convenient locations across South Hampton Roads, all open daily from 8:00am to 8:00pm, providing walk in access to quality urgent care services. In addition to urgent care services, the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will deliver Occupational Health services as part of NowCare Urgent Care’s offering for local employers.What we offer:Above market earning potential (competitive compensation structure)Flexible scheduling – enjoy an excellent work/life balanceModern EMR platform – eClinicalWorks (eCW) office-based EMR shared with Bayview’s multi-specialtiesFull Benefits: Health, Dental, and VisionPaid time off401K RetirementCME allowanceMalpractice and tail coverageResponsibilities: As an APP at NowCare Urgent Care, you will be responsible for delivering prompt, high-quality medical care in a fast-paced, outpatient setting:Evaluate and treat and wide range of acute illnesses and injuries for patients of all agesPerform comprehensive histories and physical examinationsOrder and interpret diagnostic tests including labs, EKGs, and X-raysFormulate diagnoses and develop evidence-based treatment plansPerform common urgent care procedures:Laceration repair (suturing/stapling)Incision and drainageSplinting and basic orthopedic careForeign body removalWound care and dressing changesWork collaboratively with physicians, other APPs, nurses, radiologic technologists, and support staffTo be DOT certifiedPerform DOT physical exams and complete documentationPerform drug and alcholog testing:Urine drug screens (UDS)Breath alcohol testingChain of custody proceduresPlease send your CV to [email protected]
