DescriptionAs an Advanced Reliability Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies in Minneapolis you will be responsible for testing evaluating and improving complex systems for aerospace applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of solutions that meet the highest standards of safety reliability and performance.In this role you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge aerospace technologies that shape the future of Commercial Defense and Space navigation and air travel. Your work will directly impact on the safety efficiency and reliability of aircraft missiles rockets and satellites. You will contribute directly to the long life and high reliability of complex systems used on commercial aircraft defense applications and in space navigation. Help to build a strong diverse team by recruiting talent identifying and developing successors driving retention and engagement and fostering an inclusive culture.Key ResponsibilitiesTest and evaluate electro-optical systems for aerospace applicationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful determination of root cause and implementation of corrective actions (RCCA)Conduct testing and evaluate sophisticated system performanceEnsure compliance with product and customer requirementsTroubleshoot and resolve customer issuesPrioritize and negotiate test schedules with factory personnelTrack and maintain regular progress on items under testSummarize and present findings to customerStudy the trends and evaluate the performance and Reliability of navigation systems in platforms across the globeConduct and report on front-end Reliability Analysis of the next generation of Aerospace navigation systemsQualificationsYOU MUST HAVEBachelors degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences technology engineering or mathematics.Greater than five years experience in the Aerospace industryStrong knowledge of design principles and methodologiesSuperb math and organization skillsExperience with system testing and validationExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsWE VALUEDegree in Electrical Engineering or PhysicsExperience with pursuit of root cause and corrective action (RCCA)Experience with Part Stress Analysis (PSA) Failure Modes and Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA) or Derating AnalysisStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExperience leading a diverse investigation teamCustomer service or retail experience.Ability to work effectively in a team environmentABOUT HONEYWELLHoneywell International Inc.
