The SQL Engineer is responsible for:Translating business requirements into effective maintainable SQL logicWriting high-quality SQL queries stored procedures and application logicCollaborating with IT Engineering and Business teams to define requirements and build solutionsSupporting automations and data-driven business processesTesting: unit integration and functionalDebugging optimizing and refactoring SQL codeEnhancing existing logic and adding new features as needs evolveDeveloping and maintaining clear well-organized technical documentationEnsuring compliance with HIPAA internal policies and all applicable regulationsEmployee has an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws regulations and policies.Compliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performanceMaintain HIPAA/patient confidentialityRegular and reliable attendance as assigned by your scheduleOther job duties assignedSkills for SuccessStrong communication with the ability to simplify complex ideasAbility to collaborate effectively across teamsAnalytical thinker with strong problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented with strong time-management abilitiesCuriosity and commitment to continuous learningRequired QualificationsTo support both internal mobility and external SQL hiring candidates must meet one of the following qualification pathways.(This structure has been reviewed for HR compliance: both pathways meet job-related non-discriminatory criteria.)Pathway A: External SQL-Focused CandidatesMinimum 1 year of professional SQL experience including writing queries or supporting processes through SQL logicFamiliarity with database management systems and concepts such as optimization data structures or application workflowsPathway B: Internal Aeroflow Candidates Transitioning Into EngineeringMinimum 1 year of experience in a business role at Aeroflow (ex: Operations Intake Resupply Mom & Baby Uro/CGM Revenue Cycle Supply Chain etc.)Demonstrated understanding of Aeroflow systems workflows and operational logicStrong interest and aptitude to translate business knowledge into SQL-based technical solutions(Either pathway is acceptable.
