Inside Sales Representative

Location: Chatsworth Pay Rate: $27 - $28/hr. Duration: 6 - 9 months Key Responsibilities

Drive business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new opportunities
Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing product information, support, and solutions
Manage customer order fulfillment, including:
- Quotations
- Order review & entry
- Expediting
- Customer service support
Develop negotiation strategies and support new business opportunities
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth operational flow and customer satisfaction
Provide backup support across the sales team when needed
Analyze data using Excel (XLOOKUPs, VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) to inform decisions and improve processes
Meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Maintain compliance with all company safety and work policies

Qualifications

23 years of sales experience with aerospace industry exposure (required)
Strong background in:
- Inventory management
- Account management (purchasing, sales, and customer service combined)
- Supply chain operations
Experience in fasteners or aerospace components highly preferred
Proven success in a sales environment where new prospecting accounts for 50%+ of pipeline
Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and data analysis capability
Strong consultative sales approach and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and manage change effectively
Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Education

Associate's Degree in:
- Supply Chain Management
- Operations / Logistics
- Business, Engineering, Math, Economics, or related field
