JOB TITLE: Aerospace Upholstery Technician I LOCATION: Savannah GA PAY RATE: $23.31/hour We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client. Job Details: Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension) Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation Benefits: Medical dental and vision (Cigna) Perks: Bonus potential Priority access via Tier 1 supplier Openings Nationwide: Thousands of opportunities across the U.S. Qualifying Questions: Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary Summary: Entry-level position Perform upholstery tasks in compliance FAA customer and design specifications Install and trim components per work order instructions and engineering requirements Fit and install: Panels and windows Cabin headliners Upper and lower sidewalls Hatch panels Carpet (cutting and surging) Bulkhead coverings Various fabricated metal parts Create carpet patterns from design drawings and complete installations Use the material tracking system to: Create parts demands Track squawks Sign off completed work Perform other related duties as assigned Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required Experience with commercial sewing machines sergers and/or hand tools used in upholstery or carpet trades preferred Ability to read write speak and understand English proficiently Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation Proficient with measuring tools and basic math Computer literate Able to climb ladders/stairs work in confined areas lift up to 40 lbs and work any shift Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
