After Care/Before Care Teacher at Liberation Academy

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition OverviewLiberation Academy is seeking compassionate and responsible individuals to join our Before and Aftercare program. This role provides essential care and support to students outside of regular school hours, offering a safe, engaging, and structured environment in the mornings and afternoons. This position includes, but is not limited to the following:Supervise and engage with students, ensuring a safe, welcoming environmentPlan and implement activities that promote creativity, teamwork, and learningProvide light snacks and assist with any homework needsMonitor student attendance and report absences or issues as requiredCommunicate with parents and guardians during pick-up and drop-off as neededMaintain cleanliness and organization of the program areaRequirementsPrevious experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting is preferredStrong interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitudeAbility to manage groups of students in a calm and organized mannerPunctuality and reliability, with the ability to adhere to the set scheduleCPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)BenefitsThis role is hourly. Hours range from 10 to 18 per week.
