Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Afternoon Maintenance Manager to lead and overseemaintenance operations during our second shift. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability efficiency andsafety of our manufacturing equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background inindustrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment preferably in the metals industry. Experience withaluminum extrusion equipment or hydraulic press systems is a significant plus.BRT is a growing aluminum extrusions company and as we grow our employees will grow as well.We offer competitive hourly wages annual salary percentage bonus medical dental and vision insurance at 90days participation in our 401K (with Company match) program and paid vacation and holidays.Essential duties of the Maintenance Manager: Supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities during the afternoon shift. Lead a team of maintenance technicians ensuring timely and effective completion of work orders andpreventive maintenance tasks. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Monitor equipment performance and implement improvements to reduce downtime and increaseefficiency. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate Work Order records of maintenance activities equipment repairs and partsinventory. Train and mentor maintenance staff to enhance technical skills and promote a culture of safety andaccountability.Requirements for the Maintenance Manager: Minimum of 7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Prior supervisory or leadership experience required. Strong knowledge of industrial machinery with emphasis on metals manufacturing. Experience with automated manufacturing and PLCs preferred. Proficient in reading technical manuals schematics and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure.Physical requirements for the Maintenance Manager:This position requires the individual to work in a factory/manufacturing environment. The temperatures canfluctuate from hot to cold and noise level is high. An individual in this role will be able to walk bend stooptwist turn and climb frequently. With proper safety equipment an individual in this role may work aboveground level (off the ground) for long periods of time. An individual in this role will need to be aware ofmovement and/or noises around them at all times. An individual in this role must move 50lbs frequently and upto 75lbs occasionally.
