About the Role:We are seeking passionate and dedicated Group Growth Leaders to join our School Age Program at Growing Minds Youth Development II and GMYD 148 in Bronx, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and contribute to their growth and development in a fun and supportive environment.Responsibilities:Supervise and engage with children in group activitiesPlan and Implement age-appropriate and stimulating crafts and activitiesEnsure the safety and well-being of all children in the programAssist with serving mealsCommunicate effectively with parents and other staff membersAssist with homework and provide academic supportAssist with Afterschool pick-upsDecorate program on Holidays.Plan Holiday EventsOrder SuppliesRequirements:Prior experience working with children 5-12 years of age in a group settingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain a positive and nurturing environmentHigh school diploma or equivalentCPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)About Us:At Growing Minds Youth Development II, we have been dedicated to providing high-quality youth development programs for over 10 years.
