Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Volleyball Coach for our afterschool program! This position offers the chance to combine your passion for volleyball with the opportunity to work with Kindergarten - 5th Graders at one of the premier schools in the state. We are looking for individuals who are engaging and can foster athletic skills, teamwork, and a love for the sport among students.Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Actively engage and motivate students during volleyball sessions and transitions.Work closely with staff to manage student progress and behavioral expectations.Communicate effectively with management regarding student and program-related matters.Utilize company-wide digital platforms to perform administrative tasks (e.g., taking attendance, submitting incident reports as needed, etc.).Maintain and promote student organization of volleyball supplies and equipment.Foster a vibrant, inclusive, and fun learning environment by consistently offering a positive and enthusiastic approach to coaching.Location:Calhoun Lower School325 W 85th St, New York, NY 10024Schedule:Day: Monday (part-time availability)Time: 2:45 PM - 4:30 PM.We are looking for candidates who can commit for the full 2025-26’ school year.Application Process:Please email your resume outlining your teaching experience and passion for working with elementary-aged students to [email protected]. (required) Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Sports Management, or a related field. (preferred)At least 1 year of coaching experience, preferably with elementary-level students. (preferred)Good foundation and familiarity with educational tech tools.
