Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBenefits:Employee discountsPaid time offTraining & developmentTuition assistanceJob Title: Behavioral Aide (One-on-One) Full TimeAbout the Position:We are seeking a caring and dependable Behavioral Aide to work one-on-one with a kindergarten or elementary student (Ages 5-13) who requires additional support during the school day. The aide will help the student stay on task, follow routines, and use positive behaviors in class and other school settings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and making a difference every day. Training and guidance will be provided by school staff.Main Duties:Work one-on-one with a student throughout the school day.Help the student stay focused and follow directions.Encourage positive behavior and support social skills.Assist during classroom activities, specials, lunch, and recess.Communicate with the teacher and support staff about the student's progress.Keep student information private and handle situations calmly and respectfully.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required.Experience working with children (in a school, camp, daycare, or similar setting) is helpful.Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude.Willingness to learn behavior support strategies and follow plans created by teachers.Must pass background and fingerprint checks.The Anchored School is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
