Job DescriptionJob DescriptionManifest Solutions is currently seeking an Agilist Lead for an onsite position based in Gahanna, OH.Delivering products and projects of relatively large size, risk, and complexityResponsible for demonstrating fluency, promoting and supporting Scrum as defined in the Scrum Guide, the Kanban framework, and other agile frameworks including Lean concepts and principles as described and maintained in their respective bodies of knowledgeServant-leader for the agile team and supports the Product Owner and Development Team in their quest to do everything possible to predictably deliver high quality value to customers.Help teams become high-performing by coaching self-organization and cross-functionality and by clearing away obstacles that get in the wayHelp the agile team progress in their fluency and effectiveness by recognizing the need for, and helping to implement, additional practices such as TDD, test automation, continuous integration.Works with other Agilists to lead, promote, and embody Agile values and principles throughout the organization. Evangelizes agility across departments, programs, and Agile CommunityMentors other Agilists across organization in agile values, principles, practices, and frameworksAssesses teams are staffed and set up for success, and escalates as neededDemonstrates ability to influence agility with those interacting with the agile team, including across department managementGuides the team and departments on how to use agile values, agile principles, and agile framework practices to delight customers and contribute towards building a culture of trust, respect, simplicity, courage, transparency, and agilityEducates and coaches on role expectations: Product Owner, Team Members, Customers, Departments, and ManagersBuilds effective partnership with the Product Owner and provide mentoring and support especially with respect to refining and managing the product backlog and release planning/forecasting, aligning delivery expectations with all stakeholders; Facilitates discussion, decision making, conflict resolution, and continuous improvement; Crafts internal and external communication, improve transparency, and radiate information through Visual Management Board (Release Burn, etc.) to report team progress to audiences at all levels of the organizationGuides the team on self-organization to fill in the intentional gaps left in the agile frameworksAssesses the agile health of the team and coach them to higher levels of fluency at a sustainable pace for the team and departmentDemonstrates agile behaviors and practices while exhibiting an innovative attitude and an aptitude to embrace change and improve the practices and processes of the team on a daily basisMinimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field; OR Associates degree with 2 years of related technical experience; OR High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of related technical experienceIn addition to experience listed above, 8 years of experience delivering products or projects including 5 years of experience as a member of an Agile team, with a preference for Scrum Team experienceProfessional Scrum Master certification from Scrum.org is expectedValues key project management deliverables such as Budget forecasting, project status reports, sponsor meetings, etc.
