In less than a year since leaving public beta, 100+ enterprise teams—including HubSpot, ServiceNow, and Instacart—use Capsule to create high-quality, on-brand video content at scale.We are seeking a skilled AI Engineer to join our team and help develop the next generation of our video editing tool. In this role, you will work closely with our founders and product and engineering teams to design, implement, and deploy ML models that power new and improved features for our product.‍ResponsibilitiesResearch and evaluate new ML techniques and technologies that can be applied to our productCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize ML feature development opportunitiesDevelop and implement ML models and algorithms to power these featuresOptimize model performance and accuracy through testing and iterative developmentParticipate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to other team membersStaying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in ML engineeringWork fast and enjoy the rapid pace of an early stage startupHave fun working with other highly-skilled team players in a zero-ego work environmentBring new ideas to the table that expand the capabilities of the product and delight customersRequirements3+ years of experience as an AI/ML engineer in a commercial software development settingComputer Science or related degreeStrong proficiency in Python and at least one deep learning framework (e.g. PyTorch)Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model selection and optimizationExperience building and deploying ML models in production environmentsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsHighly-motivated, entrepreneurial-minded, high EQStrong communication and organization skillsInterest in video technology in generalExperience with CI/CD a plusBenefitsCompetitive compensation including salary and stock optionsComprehensive insurance benefits — medical, dental, vision, lifeGenerous paid time off
