Job Title: AI Engineering Lead Specialist Location: Hattiesburg Mississippi Experience Required: 12 Years Employment Type: Contract Interview Type: In-Person or Webcam Job Description We are looking for an experienced AI Engineering Lead Specialist to guide the design development and deployment of advanced AI and machine learning solutions. This role involves leading technical teams architecting scalable AI systems and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver enterprise-level AI initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks model engineering and cloud-based AI platforms along with proven leadership abilities in complex project environments. Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture development and deployment of AI and machine learning applications for enterprise use. Oversee the full lifecycle of AI solutions including data exploration model development testing validation and production deployment. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data scientists engineers and development teams. Work closely with business leaders to identify AI use cases and translate requirements into technical solutions. Evaluate new AI technologies tools frameworks and best practices to optimize development approaches. Build scalable and efficient pipelines for data processing training and model monitoring. Ensure AI solutions meet performance security ethical and compliance standards. Troubleshoot and resolve technical roadblocks and lead improvement strategies. Manage project timelines deliverables and cross-team alignment for successful execution. Prepare documentation design specifications and solution architecture diagrams. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science AI/ML Data Science Engineering or a related field. Minimum 12 years of experience in software engineering or data engineering with at least 5 years focused on AI/ML projects. Strong expertise with machine learning algorithms deep learning generative AI and NLP or computer vision. Hands-on experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow PyTorch Keras Scikit-learn. Experience deploying models to production using cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud. Proficiency in Python and additional programming languages such as Java or C is a plus. Strong knowledge of data architecture feature engineering MLOps CI/CD pipelines Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with version control automated model monitoring and performance tuning. Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking with the ability to lead complex initiatives. Strong communication skills and comfort working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
