Type of Contract: Contract To HirePer diem:  Weekly Per diem for candidates who live 150 miles away from location Adhere to general work requirementsInspect engines and/or APUs components and associated aircraft systems and components in accordance with appropriate maintenance manuals with minimal supervisionAssist with installation removal or modifications and repairs of turbine engines APUs and airframe systems or components Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as requiredAssist with engine/APUs and related systems operational checks and functional testsAssist with performing complete engine runs Assist with off-aircraft component repairAbility to effectively communicate in English in both written and verbal formPerform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as requiredOperate ground support equipmentAbility to operate industrial vehicles and equipment (scissor/boom lift forklift etc.)Comply with environmental health and safety policies and procedures.  Participatein5-S activities.Perform work in a safe and timely mannerBasic PC skillsQualifications : You must have FAA Powerplant License5 years of experience working as Engine Technician Powerplant Technician or relevant experience within the aerospace industry. Aircraft Mechanic experience engine experienceOwn and maintain hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory and control of toolsAdditional Information : Heres a heads-up of the upcoming steps:Phone Interview with Recruiter: Well begin with an introductory call to discuss your background and interest in the role. Interview with the Hiring ManagerOffer Letter: Well extend you an offer and start the onboarding process.Background Check & DOT Drug Screen: This step involves conducting a comprehensive background check which includes reviewing criminal history and other relevant records.
