Elm Street, Suite 101Denton, TX 76201m1services.com Aircraft Mechanic II - APGLocation Las Vegas, Nevada Job Posting No 113760 outsidebar) to the bottom of the pageand click on the "Apply for thisposition" button.Start Date ASAP Contract F-117A Maint & Logistics SupportSalary Range $47.82/Hour Posting Date 12/09/2025Union No FLSA Status Non-ExemptShift Work Possible FT/PT Full-timeRelocation No Travel PossibleJob Summary:The Aircraft Mechanic II - APG will primarily perform all scheduled and unscheduled aircraft and equipmentmaintenance, both on and off equipment, on assigned aircraft and equipment in accordance with thePerformance Work Statement (PWS), M1 policy, DAFI 21-101(and supplements), as well as industry standards.Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:* Maintains repairs/modifies aircraft structures and structural components of moderate difficulty.* Maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics,pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.* Applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctionsand applies required expertise in restoring equipment condition and or operation.* Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technicaldocumentation such as; blueprints or manufactures' manuals.* Job requirements: must have a thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting,repair procedures and replacement of parts, requires broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structuralmodifications and repair, must have basic knowledge of electrical theory, must have thorough knowledge ofaircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metalbrakes and sheers.* This job requires working knowledge of technical publications.* The incumbent receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician, willoccasionally be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks, and may be required tomake entries in aircraft logs and records.* Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects.Qualifications and Experience:* Minimum of five years' experience performing APG aircraft maintenance functions in a military environmentand attainment of an Air Force 5 level (or equivalent) is required. Experience on F-117A preferred.* Will perform aircraft and equipment maintenance on other assigned MDS aircraft in a highly "cross-utilization/trained" environment. Will be required to perform at a high level of competency in one or more ofthe following areas: repair and reclamation, egress, electro/environmental, avionics, wheel & tire, sheetmetal, composite repair, propulsion, fuels, AGE, armament, munitions, non-destructive inspection (NDI), andpneudraulics.* Performs transient aircraft support. CDDAR team chief. Phase dock chief. Engine run certifier. QAaugmentation. Wheel & Tire certified.* Maintains qualifications contained on the Special Certification Roster (SCR) as directed.* High school diploma or GED is required.* Working knowledge of principles applying to aircraft systems, concepts and applications of maintenancedirectives, data reporting, and using technical data is mandatory.* Knowledge of Air Force supply and efficiency reporting procedures is mandatory.Page 2of 2* Knowledge of the proper handling, use, and disposal of hazardous waste and materials is mandatory.* Must speak, read, write, and understand English.* Must be able to obtain/maintain the security clearance level as mandated by the government customer.* Must possess a current valid U.S. Driver's License.* Must be able to move about both inside aircraft hangars and outside on aircraft ramps within close proximityof running equipment and aircraft. * Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining aprofessional and non-confrontational attitude.Working Conditions:* Position requires complying with unique commuting/travel requirements.* Shall assist other personnel and work centers as directed.* Will work in aircraft hangars and outside on aircraft ramps within close proximity of running equipment andaircraft. * Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, or overtime shifts as required.* May work outdoors, sometimes in hot or cold weather.* May be exposed to contaminants.* May be exposed to hazardous conditions, such as when standing on scaffolding or climbing ladders* Will be exposed to loud and persistent noise* Will be required to utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as: safety toe footwear, safetyglasses, etc.M1 Support Services, headquartered in Denton, Texas provides a variety of professional, technical, and maintenance services to theDepartment of Defense and government agencies.M1 Support Services is an equal opportunity employer.
